Dear Community,
We have been taking the next step together for a while now and have experienced quite a bit. Today, we'd like to pause for a moment and take a quick look at our overall situation.
Like every company in the world, we of course have to deal with the Corona situation. But a young company like Feelbelt, which is still in the middle of development, has it even harder. Suppliers change (or burn out completely), transports are delayed, promises can't be kept. Fortunately, we are very good at solving such problems and finding alternatives, which is why we were already able to produce and ship the first Feelbelts by hand. Approximately 10% of the orders we have received so far have been fulfilled in this way.
Since this manual work, in connection with the numerous individual productions and smallest series, is of course not profitable in the long run, we are currently working at full speed to get our large-scale production up and running. At the same time, this production will benefit from the experience of all Feelbelt users who have provided us with a lot of feedback so far. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their feedback!
The Feelbelt consists of about 330 individual parts, some of which we manufacture ourselves and some of which we purchase. Planning, coordinating and adjusting all this is currently our main task and costs two things: time and money.
The time factor is not so easy to eliminate. Adapting the product technically, manufacturing new components and assemblies and putting everything together simply takes time. For this reason, there are always delays in delivery dates; both for us in production and for you as customers. For these delays we can only ask for your understanding and confidence, because we are optimistic in any case.
And there is a solid reason for this optimism:
We are very lucky to work with great investors and were able to attract almost 300 more investors in our current Seedmatch campaign. This is a great sign of confidence for us and puts us in the fortunate position to overcome the upcoming hurdles. PS: the Seedmatch investor round is still running, so you can become a part of Feelbelt for as little as 250,-€ ;)
With the money we can move forward together and expand our processes and capacities. Together we will take the next step - the next step towards the future.

wir sind jetzt schon eine Weile gemeinsam dabei den nächsten Schritt zu gehen und haben einiges erlebt. Heute möchten wir einmal kurz innehalten und uns einen kleinen Überblick über unsere Gesamtsituation verschaffen.
Wie jedes Unternehmen auf der Welt, haben natürlich auch wir mit der Corona-Situation zu kämpfen. Ein so junges Unternehmen wie Feelbelt, das noch mitten in der Entwicklung steckt, hat es da aber sogar noch etwas schwerer. Zulieferfirmen wechseln (oder brennen direkt ganz ab), Transporte verzögern sich, Zusagen können nicht eingehalten werden. Glücklicherweise sind wir sehr gut darin solche Probleme zu lösen und Alternativen zu finden, weswegen wir bereits die ersten Feelbelts in Handarbeit fertigen und versenden konnten. Ca. 10% der bisherigen Bestellungen konnten wir auf diese Weise bisher ausführen.
Da diese Handarbeit, in Verbindung mit den zahlreichen Einzelanfertigungen und Kleinstserien, aber natürlich auf Dauer nicht rentabel ist, arbeiten wir aktuell mit Hochdruck daran unsere Großserienproduktion zum Laufen zu bringen. In diese Produktion fließt gleichzeitig die gesammelte Erfahrung aller bisherigen Feelbelt-Nutzer ein, die uns mit reichlich Feedback versorgen. Hierfür möchten wir uns an dieser Stelle natürlich auch bedanken!
Der Feelbelt besteht aus rund 330 Einzelteilen, die wir teils selbst anfertigen und teils einkaufen. All dies zu planen, zu koordinieren und immer wieder anzupassen ist aktuell unsere Hauptaufgabe und kostet zwei Dinge: Zeit und Geld.
Der Faktor Zeit ist nicht so leicht auszuhebeln. Das Produkt technisch anzupassen, neue Bauteile und -gruppen anzufertigen und alles zusammenzufügen dauert einfach eine gewisse Zeit. Aus diesem Grund kommt es immer wieder zu Verschiebungen bei den Lieferterminen; sowohl für uns in der Produktion, als auch bei euch als Kunden. Für diese Verzögerungen können wir euch einfach nur um euer Verständnis und eure Zuversicht bitten, denn wir sind auf jeden Fall optimistisch.
Und für diesen Optimismus gibt es einen handfesten Grund:
Wir haben das große Glück mit großartigen Investoren zusammenzuarbeiten und konnten in unserer aktuellen Seedmatch Kampagne noch fast 300 weitere Investoren für uns gewinnen. Das ist für uns ein großer Vertrauensbeweis und versetzt uns in die glückliche Lage auch die kommenden Hürden zu meistern. PS: die Seedmatch Investorenrunde läuft noch, ihr könnt also schon ab 250,-€ ein Teil von Feelbelt werden ;)
Mit dem Geld kommen wir gemeinsam voran und können unsere Prozesse und Kapazitäten ausbauen. Gemeinsam gehen wir den nächsten Schritt - den nächsten schritt in Richtung Zukunft.
